                               RESOLUTION NO. 19145
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF VINE STREET BETWEEN DOUGLAS
                   STREET AND PALMETTO STREET ON VARIOUS DATES
                   MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN FOR THE
                   PURPOSE OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE UTC MARCHING
                   BAND PRIOR TO ALL HOME FOOTBALL GAMES UNDER
                   THE DIRECTION OF THE UTC ATHLETIC
                   DEPARTMENT.
                  
                                                    
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of Vine Street between Douglas Street and
       Palmetto Street from 6:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, August
       31, 1991, from 6:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 7,
       1991, from 6:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 21, 
1991,
       from 6:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, 1991, from
       6:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 1991, from 12:45
       p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 1991, for the 
assembly
       of the UTC Marching Band prior to all home football games under
       the direction of the UTC Athletic Department provided that the
       sponsor shall set out and pick up all flasher barricades and
       warning signs in accordance with the traffic control plan 
attached
       hereto and shall provide, at all times, an access lane for
       emergency vehicles.
